saw Crumb the other night, what a great film. Its sometimes really amusing then sometimes its really uncomfortable, I mean, does he know how messed up him & his family are? We ate loadsa (well i ate loads) 'H', which is named for its highly addictive qualities. Megan makes it, its this caramelly cornflake concoction covered in chocolate. Her recipe is secret though i reckon i'll have to take it back to Ireland with me. I'm salivating now just thinking about it, and i'm all stuffed with beeyoutiful pizza at the moment.
Still temping, this job continues til the end of the month if i want it, but i dont think 25 hours a week is going to do me money wise. So today i took the crazy/foolish/clever/deluded (delete as applicable) step of joining an extras agency. See i considered doing that kinda thing before at home, but like, when you work full time its not really possible, so i thought well why not, im not doing anything better here at the mo. And there is a lot of stuff shot here, they do most of the US Queer as Folk, several local Canadian series, and generally a few features too. I think the Ontario government is like Ireland for the handing out of tax breaks for shooting here, hence the Hollywood North moniker its got. So i'm single handedly going to revive the scene fully and finally pull it out of its SARS induced slump with my fabolus standing around in the background. I'll be happy if i get a couple of days a month, it could be fun. Don't think i'll be making my fortune though. Also dropped my resume into a giant Chapters store too. Mmm book discount.
it was 18 degrees today! celcius! bloody hell. Course it dropped 30 degrees over the following 12 hours. Now if thats not global warming i dont know what is.
right i have one leg left to take up on a pair of Zara sale cords (part of potential office type wardrobe), and a veggie chilli to make, and cleaning to do. We found a bunch of ants last night, so i'm freaking out about that while mark more likely considers them pets.
a plus tard...
