my cat died today. the last thing i told her before i left the house in wexford last november, was Joey, you have to hang around at least another year, dont be going anywhere on me. but she had an x-ray this morning - mum brought her to the vet because she wasnt eating - and she had a tumour in her abdomen attached to her liver, so he had to put her to sleep.
but on the bright side she now gets to go asleep in her basket by dads feet again.

no, she wasnt, emma's friend said 'whats she called?' a couple of days after we got her, emma said 'i dont know' and kiera misheard and said 'joe?' and we said okay. maybe she thought it was not very good cockney rhyming slang.
Josephina was her full name though. bless her cotton socks
Thats very sad Jill, the fact that she died, I wasn't commenting on the way in which she was named. Josephine is my confirmation name, after my nana. Ais had a cat that seemed to live for ever, it spent half its life called Alvin (as in the Chipmunks) but then one day he became a she and had to be renamed Alvinetta, the kittens were a dead give away!
