irish night in toronto (frames gig)

there something not so great about walking in off the streets that are full of different folks: french, korean, jamaican, chinese, canadian, mexican, australian, english, south american...(you get the picture) in to a large room full mostly of irish. We're an ugly bunch, well maybe thats wrong to say, but least there was a general air of ugliness. For a moment, I though i was at an Aslan gig when some refined young lady up the front yelled 'UP THE IRISH', and glen asked 'what was that - fuck the irish?'. I was thinking it, honestly, but it just seemed so ungrateful from his point of view, standing in front of a decent sized crowd 3000 miles from home. He also made a few other disparaging comments like 'thanks all of you who listened, the rest of you, we'll see you at home'. It was a lazy gig as Mark pointed out, but an enjoyable one none the less, glen hansards musings aside.

we had one of those its a small world moments. We got in from our night out at 3am, mark got on the ichat (weirdo) and there were mal & Katherine up n at 'em and ichatting at 8am. sat3am So we took this photo to show them us 'live' from toronto. (arent we the vision of pink shinyness) Then Cliodhna texted mark to say she was on her way to the dublin airport. (Her flight has since been cancelled from amsterdam, so she'll be a day late which is completely poxy, cos tomorrow was her only weekend day with us and she won't get here til late sunday)

by the way, you can buy frames knickers at their merch stall. Im starting the campaign now to get corpo ones for their tour.
