you lucky things. Its time for a photostory.

We went to Weezer last night. I don't know if words can describe how great it was. Considering I went home sick from work after blacking out at lunchtime yesterday, I was surprised I made it there at all. But deadly buzzes kept me going. It was an amazing set, I'm liking the sound of the new stuff, bit slower and heavier than lots of the hits they played. Will be (legally) downloading it on tuesday. There was so many frat boy types there, I didn't realise this would be the case at all, but Mark assures me that Weezer's sophisticated European audience like ourselves is fairly different to their North American audience. I didn't bring the camera, wasn't sure what the security would be like. Kool Haus is about 2/3rd's the size of the point, sound was surprisingly good. And our favourite Toronto Raptor, Matt Bonner the 6'7" Red Rocket was there, pity short girls like me who gets stuck behind him at a gig. Luckily I bring along my own tall bloke to keep me some elbow room at gigs.

action_2 the_jayThen today we went to our 3rd MLB game, vs. Chicago White Sox, better record at the mo than anyone else. Blue Jays had lost 5-3 last night, and it looked like it was gonna be a total whitewash after about 3 innings. We lost a respectable enough 10-7 in the end. Not good enough says I though. jays_nutter And this dude said it lots too. Ear piercingly loud. Over and over and over. Very insistent and forthright in his opinions this lad.

White Sock (?) Podsednik is a sneaky fecker who stole 4 bases, which is a sly thing to do, and only speedy yolks like him can manage it, and it's why we lost.

Mark was not very happy by the end, even though 'Sox are his 2nd team, (which shouldn't be allowed if you ask me)

Then we thought sure its a lovely day lets go and get icecream and that cheered us up no end.

Queen St. West - it's very cool. You wouldn't know what you'll find next.
In fact...shoe_shop_mark...Mark in Vegetarian Shoe Shop Shocker!

Endnote: Unfortunately, we didn't realise the roof would be open at the baseball. And the game was 3 hours long. We got burnt. Toronto is hot so I won't be letting that happen again. In other news, do you like my new tshirt? new_tshirt The toothbrushes come separately

I stole 2nd base on saturday in my first game of the season for the Hurricanes and batted .333 and got on base twice = unfortunatlty we lost 6-5 to the Greystones Mariners - So does that make me a sly fecker as well ????

Hi Jill, spotted your link on Dee's website, so thought I would follow up. It is odd because I was thinking of you the other day- If you remember the Mirror photo frame you give me for my 21st it broke and it had to bring in it to get repaired! The man in the shop laughed at your modest inscription 'You dont have to put a photo of me in here, but really, it'd be so much nicer than anything else!'
