'Mound played Sneakys tonight. I can hand on heart say I've not seen Mark with that silly grin on his face in feckin' ages. Despite my best efforts, he'd rather be rockin'. And he got to use his Super Hard On pedal, which is not even a nickname but a real pedal name. Ah blokes. It rocked very hard though. It's cool to see Mound with double Mackey madness, that combo was originally before my time I think. I saw them in the Funnel a couple of times back in 97/98 but I'd be hard pressed to identify the line up from that time. Must ask Graham.
Ryan (Damian's housemate, aged 21*) accosted me as I left to tell me that he always knew Mark was a dude, now he knows he ROCKS! and where did I think I was going. I've skipped out before My Soft Frequency though. Really, it's their fault, the whole thingy started too late, and call me a bad person but I'm just an awful wuss, I've 3 8am starts in work this week, with job interviews at the end of today and tomorrow, so I'm a tired thing trying to conserve my energy. And what do I do? Come straight home from Sneaky's and blog this. So when Damian reads this in work in the morning, he'll be all like "oh you couldnt stay and watch my band, but you could go home and write about your boyfriend's" and I'll be all like yeah.

thanks i just noticed i hadnt changed it yesterday since being away. and it is fierce smoggy here
a ha ha ha...Damian didn't go to work the next day, as he's a genius and booked it off well in advance, in anticipation of lager-fuelled post-rock mayhem. no worries about missing the Soft Porno show, there's always Guelph (are you coming to that..?) and beyond.
if there's room for a little 'un in a car then yeah i will, if not no. as of this morning mark still didnt know what the story was with getting there so if you can shed any light....
sure i've never been to guelph and i love that word so why not?
crikey, the transportation issue...eek...must sort that out post-haste.
