Bet they don't eat Ben & Jerrys

Well I clarified the situation. There was indeed ice cream in the freezer. (Phish Food I think don't yell I don't know exactly cos it was hand packed in the B&J shop).

There isn't anymore.

ballet-blur

I went to the Ballet By The Water last night, which was a performance by the National Ballet of Canada down on an open air stage at the Harbourfront Centre. It was jammers so I was one of the many many many people standing. I got there about quarter to eight sure I'd have me pick of seats. It was gorgeous - they did excerpts from classic and new ballets (not that i'd have known any of them). To this day I still wish that mum hadn't listened to my tomboyish protestations and had made me go to ballet along with every other 5 year old girl, and following in the paths of my big sis's. She may have seen my attempts at Irish dancing and realised that a career in dance was never where it was at for me. Anyway, way to make a girl feel not graceful - and me a tuesdays child and everything

harbourfront
The Harbourfront Centre is great for having the free arts, but actual harbourfront in Toronto is cut off from the rest of downtown by the monstrosity of the Gardiner Expressway and the barren bits of land underneath and around it. The rail lines cutting across your path down that way I can deal with. But its just damned spooky once you get south of Union Station til you get to Queens Quay. I walked down last night, but even though it was only about 915 when i was heading home, there was no way I was walking. Its dark lonely and quiet for about the first 10 minutes of the walk. And with that film still fresh in my mind, it was straight onto the streetcar. I haven't put that so well. Anyone who's been will understand.

Is that the new one? What's the meaning behind it?
