lord i think im glad its monday im so tired after the last few days. it's pissin rain though its like an irish autumn day. I ran to work in Mark's raincoat - attractive. Last night we went to The Rex for the first time ever as Katriona and Darragh were still in town and wanted to go somewhere with jazz. So we did jazz hands and chatted - getting all the details bout the wedding - and dissected Eddie Hobbs' Rip Off Republic, which although Mark and I never saw it, we knew all about it as it was all the buzz on Irish telly over the summer. Incidentally, the mens bathroom was inaccessible due to sexual acts being performed in there by 2 enthusiatic (read: very drunken) members of the audience. Whether their was a syncopated rhythm incorporated or not I don't know.
Working backwards, previous to that we spend the afternoon and evening with Megan, Graham, Julie, Craig & Levon, where, having not seen Levon in a month we couldn't help marvelling over the change in him from infant type baby to big strong growing full of personality baby. (At 4 months) He stood firm and tall when you held him on your lap, gnawed at my fingers with his bottom teeth and then went to bed to tell us that really, he needs his sleep and we should just leave him alone once in a while. But not until after we ate yum food from the local churrequeira (hah! spelling...) cos J&C&L live kinda in the Portuguese area of Toronto. I am going to miss having neighbourhoods from all over the world when we leave. However I resolve to try my very best to not start most of my sentences with a variation on "Well, in Toronto...". I make no such promises with regard to Eh! which I will continue to end my sentences with. Despite Katriona's protestations - and pointing out of the couple of times me or mark used it - I thinks its lovely and invites a response and shows interest and is not pandering or submissive at all. And I checked with the Canadians and they say I am right in my post post modern linguistical interpretation of Eh!
I have still not done anything with me photies but I haven't really gone near the computer since Mark got back, I got very used to it not being in the gaff so was able to ignore it. (like Mark! only messin...) Besides as both Mark and boots had also arrived back safe and sound I was more interested in them. The boots. And Mark. Not necessarily in that order.
