$54 million! its a good thing i didn't win by the looks of the comments there i'd have had all sorts of relatives (people pretending to be my long lost sister in australia that kinda thing) coming out of the woodwork. Sure I'm a great one for playing the lottery about once a year and being convinced i'm gonna win. It's a nice couple of hours to dream for. Just think! We might even be able to afford a house in Dublin!
I didn't skip ANTM, the game took a while to get going. Besides I always miss the 1st 20 minutes or so due to Pilates not finishing til 8. Then the judging starts by about 30 mins in...it's going down hill i tell you, back in cycles 1-4 we saw more competing and less judging. And Twiggy, sure she loves everyone and thats no fun (Janice got fired after the last series). Tyra's show is pretty crap, it seems to be on every night though, or at least a few nights a week. Not even horrific, just nyeh, nothing to write home about. She gets some trashy couples on to sort our their lives, invites the girls that got knocked out of ANTM. About the same standard as Sharon Osborne's ill-fated chat show.
That's it for the baseball now. I usually feel all sorry for losers but I didn't for the Astros cos they were never in it. Besides we were happy for our dyed in the wool White Sox fanboy mate Kris who apparantly was watching it from Portland Oregon in the midst of some tour or another. It's a bit shitty the way the fans don't/can't travel the long distances. The whole stadium is shooting you daggers as you try celebrate your victory. So, my temporary American sports insanity is almost gone and in a few weeks I'll be back in the land of hurling, rugby and (european) football. Then I can get safely back to not attending any sports events in person again more than once a year. (Go on Wexford! Pull hard!)

Good woman Jill. My own efforts at attempting to like football have ended. We are just not compatible. I like the Fantasy League though. That's just because you can dress them up.
Up the Dubs! leinster champions! All the way to the Sam next year...
My my how things have changed since you left!
