I rock. at last. I am so smiley this evening even if my fingers hurt a bit. God bless Garageband, I'm playing along to Weezer already. Much more fun than scales I have to say. I wanted to take photos, so Mark made me go out to the balcony, where I looked like a spa. Now, next I need a pink strap, because although my bass is beautiful black, I am after all, a laaaaady and must have pink on my person.
Mark pulled a sly one on me earlier. We were walking home from Steve's (the music store) with the new bass - I brought him along to be my roadie - but Mark made us walk the back streets saying Queen west was too busy with the box he was carrying. A few mins after we get in I flick on MuchMusic...and who is on live only JARED bleedin' LETO and his band. Mark made me turn up a side street mere ten's of metres from Jordan Catalano himself. Tsk. Good thing I had a new bass to distract me :) The band were shit anyway, about the same calibre of Russell Crowe and Keanu Reeves's bands. But they were Very Good on mute.

So, should we be holding our breath waiting for a duet to be released now? Maybe something akin to Rene & Renata's 'Save Your Love' from the 80's - except it will be the rock version !
hmm, sylda's mark had a mental image of us having a bill & ted 'wyld stallions' moment at some point in the future. i think that might be more likely - i don't remember either rene or renata having instruments?
