Well now. That was fun. Despite having to make up a 'moving sale' poster and pack up stuff for shipping, and buy a giant duffle bag for our extra stuff, we managed to do birthday things too. On saturday, because it was my choice, we went to an vegan organic raw food restaurant called Live. By the time it came to leave, it was pissing rain and cold and a curry was more on my mind, but there's not that many chances I get total control with no veto allowed on where we're going. So, off we went. I had a raw combo, which was a sample of each of the 4 mains. It was really tasty and fresh, but the buckwheat pizza was a bit dry and I could not see myself eating a full size portion. I had some amazing juice with apple and ginger and beets called Pretty In Pink and it was yum. Mark wasn't that pleased I think, but I don't think I would have gone for his choices at all. They change the menu every 2 weeks so I'd love to give it another go. I got this choccy fudge thing for dessert and I swear it was so rich and thick we couldn't finish it between us. Headache on a plate, I'm not sure why I even ordered it.

Then we went off to the lovely Souz Dal, a dark dark dark cocktail bar in Little Italy. We stayed there with Graham and (briefly!) Megan, and Damian and Danielle til they kicked us out and Mark had drunk them dry of whisky. I'm hoping Danielle remembers offering me and Mark tickets to a certain v big rock show on thursday night (that's a hint damo - if they're still going spare!)
So, yesterday was spent admiring my new bag from de fellah (thanks mark-o) and chatting on the phone and doing the going home preparations mentioned above. Managed to round it off with a trip to see Shopgirl (excellent - great characters) and get an Indian takeout. Hmm, I have to wear a bikini in a week, I should so be sticking to the raw food...
Now I have to go, because I need to disassemble the table this computer is sitting on for some young fellahs to bring home with them in half an hour.
