so i've been given out to for not updating. who's blog is this? mine. its my blog and i'll neglect it if I want to. Here I am finally updating it - why? because I'm home sick from work, and i have the time and inclination. I spent yesterday throwing up and fainting, today I am recuperating. Luckily handy man Mark made up a wireless network last night so I'm doing this from the comfort of the bed. I did actually try to go to work this morning. I got out of bed and went to go to the shower and then Mark was like, go back to bed you couldn't stand up yesterday without falling over and now you think you can stand up all day in work. nosiree. so after a bit of protesting i snuggled up again. i might even eat something soon.
Last weekend Large Mound played their first gig since Mark got back and they got a new drummer. Looked like the lads were having fun, but I thought the sound was a bit poor once you were more than a few metres from the stage. The Lower Deck has mad low ceilings though. Still, it was jammers, and the crowd were into it. I gather Eric is a bit of a legend drummer so everyone was mad into seeing him. I took some very bad photos, of which 2 turned out flukily ok. There's one on their site, so I won't duplicate here.
Went off home to wexford again this weekend. Now that I think about it ma said I looked fairly awful when she saw me and then had to hastily retract when I told her I hadn't been drinking the previous night. I also kept falling asleep this weekend which isn't really like me so maybe i was getting sicker over the weekend. We were supposed to have a house-warming / pre payday party on saturday night, but the date was nabbed by someone else for a do so for the sake of our conflicting guest lists we cancelled and said feck it lets go chill in the sunny south east. Lisa and Ella were around too, so we all had right fun following her about the place. Then we all looked away for about 2 minutes to eat our dinner and she decided that she would do a face mask. yogurt is very good for the skin.

The one thing I've been making sure to do since we got home is get to the beach as often as possible. So mum, me, lisa, ella, mark, muttley and cosmo alll headed out 'to blow out the bad' in Curracloe on sunday. Ah the beachy goodness.

After they went for a bit of a swim, Muttley gaving flying a go.

Tracy, drinking her tenth bottle of champagne in about 2 weeks. Fiona, happy to help.
so, apart from all that what have I been up to in the past couple of weeks? Such exciting things as working hard, sorting out health insurance, missing eye lasery assessment appointment and having to wait month for a new appointment, doing lots of cooking (of which I'm very proud), celebrating various engagements (Dudley & Barb, Tracy & Mick), seeing some films and oh yeah, flakin out. And most importantly, not watching Celebrity Big Brother.
