donkey work

theres an exhibition of donkey pictures on in the IFSC as part of the St. Patrick's Festival. They're lined up beside the CHQ building (i always see them setting up events in there, yet have never seen an event actually taking place there - there was a big banner about Meath Tourism flapping away all lonely in there on its own there for a couple of days last week). I'm not that enamoured by the pictures or anything. There's about 30 of them maybe, a couple of metres high and wide, all lined up. Last night I was walking through the IFSC about 1015 on my way home from work and I saw 2 security guards patrolling the donkeys.
"we need you to mind some donkeys"
"ah here now bud, i'm no farmer"
"no no they're only pictures"
"but sure what are they doing outside then?"

as the rain and the hail fell.

and also for the duration of the festival, Tracy is serving up crepes here. She must be deadly at it by now. Tell her I sent you.
