i have made my peace with my gammy eyes and it is time to move on. i have had 20 years of glasses, most of them very reluctant. i begged and cajoled my parents to let me get contacts when i was 15 because Sinead had got them, and she was my glasses-friend. Once she shed the disadvantage (as we saw it) i insisted mine had to go too. Of course I was double-disadvantaged with my orthodontics too, but we won't get into that cos it still brings on shudders in me.
i have foregone mascara for 3 days, and will for another 7. Make no mistake - this is a big committment.

as a long time bespectacled git I wish you every success in seeing the world the way real people do...if you like you could post a descrip of the procedure so us fearful 4 eyes might take the leap and follow to the land of unblurred vision....congratulations

Yes indeed well done. Maybe someday I will follow suit but I am a bit too fond of my spéaclaí at the moment.

yes yes, let us know how it goes...i've been in these damnable specs for nigh on 30 years now (jesus...now i feel ancient...) and am giving serious thought to this procedure.
