Ah sure look it you're due a post. Will I make my excuses, go on then do. Overlapping with the copious amounts of guests, was the 7 days of work, my life taken over by the closing stages of You're a Star. (it doesn't merit a link, if you don't know what it is you're lucky.) Then I had one day of sleep, 4 more days of busy busy busy then I went to wexford, where - although the internet exists - I only step near the computer to do whatever mum has decided she needs from the internet this time - (prepaid long term quickpark at Dublin airport if you're interested) at chugga chugga chugga dial up speed.
But I'm here now and sure isn't that what matters. I have new projects though - mostly involving the colourification of this apartment. I had better check with the almost-in-laws first though, but I'm guessing Mr. J. leaving a drill here on my request means I'm good to go. Zig zaggy shelves. Floating shelves. Lots of picture frames. (Loving teeny tester pots of paint with sponge applicators) Goddammit FEATURE WALLS!
(thats sorta news bulletin music that is)
So I guess I could keep you up to date, on wedding stuff. Emma and Jamie are going to be home a couple of weeks before the wedding so that is deadly. We pretty much decided on the schoolhouse I think for our dinner and staying over and drinking in the bar there after the ceremony. Its really close by the registry office. We're doing the small bit of driving on the day in a 1998 Paul Smith Mini Cooper, courtesy of George the Greek. It might be worth gate-crashing the day of the wedding just to see Mark fold and unfold himself in and out of that thing. Me, I'll probably rip my dress trying to get out. I bought one of them, a dress. Its pretty. But that's all I'm telling yissers about that. Our rings are ready, they're sitting in the shop to be picked up. Can someone go pick them up for us and gissa loaner of the balance? I'm bursting to go get it, but we have to wait til pay day. Mark says I can't wear it until he puts in on my finger, the big meanie.
ps. eye surgery delayed to the 30th march. can't be arsed changing ticker thing. maybe that means I'll stay blog-blind slightly longer. new scrubs and dinner time now.

we'll of course need pictures of Mark in the mini with his knees at his ears. do not forget.
and don't go ripping yer dress. that would be, in Dublin parlance, a "bad buzz".
AAhhhhhhhhhh can you not even tell us the shop in which you bought said matrimonial frock? Mark won't look.
Oh Jill d'ya wanna come to the Dice Bar on Thursday? I'm gone quare social now, tis the anticlimax after the party you see.
nope. i sent it off home with lisa from the shop, in case i got tempted to try it on every 3 seconds.
going to galway for thursday night. do you not mark these things down when I tell you at all? i'd be into gaff sociables on friday or out on saturday though. the parentals are meeting on sunday
yah - you're back. I'm not very busy in work at the moment, so I really do need your blog updates ! What beach is that? Hardly Curacloe??
Right we will do a Friday or Saturday meeting up so.
Lisa where did Jill get her dress?
I cannot tell. All I can say is that it is very pretty and I'm hereby taking the credit for spotting it first and recognising its potential.
I even deleted something else I was going to say there because I'm afraid of incurring the wrath of Jill. Too scary.
And they live! VG that you're coming to Galway. I would suggest not arranging anything for Friday. It'll be a late night/early morning, I fear.
Schoolhouse is grand. All the Esat suits used to go there after work.
