It Lives!

at last. Mark performed about 4 hours of open-mac surgery yesterday and now the computer is purring along nicely. My god, it was like having an limb missing there for the last couple of weeks. Bills remain unpaid, tickets not booked, transfers not made, flights not organised. What did we do before the internet? On the other hand, I've been able to get up and leave the house in about half the time compared to when the siren call of firefox is screaming out. Now, if you'll excuse me I'm going blind trying to make a bracelet and I have to get it done. Later today is also wedding-choons playlist meeting with TQ. Any requests stick em in the comments now...

What about Tainted Love? I have the Soft Cell version. Deadly.

i'm saying this now so i won't have to say it again. there will be no first dance at the party. any attempt to organise a first dance will be treated with extreme seriousness and will result in the responsilbe parties being ejected from the, eh, party. that goes for you too dunphy.

-Cuts to Mark shuffling embarrassedly along to Saving All My Love For You by Whitney Houston. I vote the Brazilian Sesame Street music by Marcos Valle. It's deadly. Link to the MP3 on my name. If that's how it works.

i'd suggest a song off the Dinah Brand album, but it might jinx the whole 'domestic bliss' thing...

...so instead, put some Slayer on the wedding soundtrack.

no fly, thats a technicality you can get away with. maybe i will dance that first dance with you...

(unfortunately i felt compelled to veto N*E*R*D's Lapdance from TQ's playlist. I just couldn't handle my mother face if she heard that.)

Mark, I think the no first dance thing is great. And you'll even get away with it too.

But remember that you will be outnumbered and the mob might turn angry unless you provide other alternative public display of affection / moments that can be captured on camera. So think on (as they say on Corrie)

i saw an amazing first dance at a wedding last christmas. rather than a mushy slow dance, the couple had secretly been getting dancing lessons and had learnt some amazing 50's style rock n' roll dancing. everyone was gobsmacked.

do it! on rollerskates!
