gosh. I went to the IFTA's on friday night. That is all I can tell you till I go to work tomorrow and find out what happened. I found this on my phone:
It looks like we were having fun in the jacks anyway (thats jen and mary). Found a couple of things I had no recollection of beside the bed on saturday. 1: bar reciepts for vodka. oops. obviously free champagne & wine wasn't enough for me. 2: a mac goody bag. Now, i rolled over in my hungover stupor and mumbled at Mark that we'd gotten mac goody bags. Then i realised I was about to sorely disappoint him. 'i mean the makeup...' Very decent it was too. Look away now boys - tinted lip conditioner, spice lipliner, teknakohl eyeliner in brownborder, prolash mazzy in coal black and trax eyeshadow. Worth wasting an entire saturday for. Except maybe that I had to cancel a yum dinner out for us in Chez Max due to definite poisoning of self. Mark has refused to rebook for another night yet, and i have the fear that he will hold it over me forever.
Today we vowed to be more productive that meant brunch in Il taverna di bacco. What did we do before Italyally? Then disappointing rugby watching in lisa's, where we were unexpectedly babysitting for a few hours. But you know what, I can sacrifice my sunday evening cinema for a couple who've probably just paid their last trip to the cinema for a year. Muhahaha, parenthood wha'.
De child was good fun though. But sure when isn't she. Up till I started to video her, she was vigoursly playing glockenspiel and Baa was airdrumming along like nobodys business. Soon as the record light came on all she wanted to talk about was teddy's stinky bum.
Jill, you have to have the video public on YouTube to make it visible from the blog. That's probably not the problem at all but it's a "helpful" suggestion.
Keep going with the blog. I have a "start a new blog for baby and update Ella's even less often" vs "make Ella's blog a family blog" vs "start a new baby blog and put Ella's into retirement" conundrum. Too late I've realised that this blogging could turn into a public version of showing people how much less attention the 2nd child gets. And we can't have that...
