and they call it puppy love...

im such a sap, sending dog collars halfway round the world. anyway this is muttley and cosmo sporting their pressie.

and they call it puppy love

they're obviously in the mood for love on valentines day. VD (as ill call it now) is so big here, like i went into work and by 9:02 someone had thrust a heart shaped lolly in my hand. and there was a bowl of red heart jellies in reception, and they were all wishing each other Happy VD like its christmas or something. So yet more for me to resist!

We went for non-Valentines sushi this evening. Yum. So cheap too, now i dont eat the fishy stuff, but mark assures me that what he paid $15.99 for tonight would be about 40euro in aya or some such place. Roe looks like orange glitter, sushi is very visual (im sure they'd be well able to make heart-shaped rolls if they wanted to!) I had a big feast of various veggie stuff for about 8 bucks. I do love the aul sushi, but not too often. They didnt have the cool honey deep fried tofu like in yamamori though (props to the windmill massivvvve!). They were playing richard marx and mariah carey and whitney houston in the backround though which was funny. I think next time it snows im going to put one of our folding chairs on the balcony and recreate the I will Always Love you video in the window at Mark.

Megan & Graham made me veggie shepard pie yesterday, and 'Dig In' was etched in the potato top! The non-veggie one was bigger - so obviously it said 'Lets get fucked' on the top. Just another civilised sunday dinner round the Mackeys! And we had coconut pie for dessert, my god is all i can say.

im off now to think about what im going to eat next (i see what you mean emma)

Is it just one big eat fest over there?
I know what you mean about sushi - I went through a phase where I had sushi rolls for lunch every day, but then totally OD-ed on them. Now its reserved for the odd occasion only.
