i know for a fact that oklahoma has a least 2 great songs - people will say we're in love and oh what a beautiful morning. I've seen it at least twice, stage and screen. mark could have just gone round singing those (possibly with joss in his shorts) and the people of oklahoma would have appeared from behind fences and out of manholes and joined in and they all could have danced down the street together all spontaneously knowing the same dance routine.
I saw Crash finally yesterday. Amazing. Don't worry no spoilers, but it makes you question yourself and human nature. And then, just to kill off the braincells that may have inadvertently kicked into action - I watched, well, had on, the MTV VMA's. Good god, i must be getting old because I was shocked at how bad and unentertaining it was. (and i didn't know who some people were) Except that young Kelly Clarkson who rocked out mightily at the end (Fly you'll be roaring along!)
Have booked a flight back from the US finally so I don't have to go there on a one way ticket. I was like Nervous Nelly there thinking about it. So my trip's not as long as I thought it would be, I'll be back in TO friday the 16th, and its gonna be another 10 days (including 2 weekends) after that til Mark is home which in my opinion is shit.
Oh yes my weekend, i got a new tattoo. I didn't get the wrist one, that is a different one altogether - i just don't want to get that done on my own or go home alone after cos I am a wuss, so it can wait. I also: overdid it at the gym, had a little lie down, chatted to mum, called round to Craig & Julies to eat indian food, watched 3 hours of Coronation St that I'd already seen 10 months ago, had a mammoth speakerphone chat with sylda and catherine, fixed some jewellery, did some pilates and spent $100 on a frock-shocker. Everything but email/blog/surf - free from the tyranny of the little mac in the corner beckoning at me with its titanium finish, well, you can get a lot done. I'm gonna try equally over do it at the gym tonight. Unlikely though.

its there on the flickr thing. had to take photo so mark could see it. lots of weird bendy arm formations til i remembered the timer on the camera. its pretty low down, those jeans are v loose so yissers wouldn't be spotting it walking down the street. It's also a bit pink from the newness at that point. grand by now though.
