well i know you've all been dying to see what finglas looks like, this isn't it. However, here's a snap of our fancy-schmancy new kitchen and Mark whipping up some gourmet baked beans within.

Fair play to Marks parents, the place is amazing, and they've furnished it down to the last detail almost. One thing I wish I'd had the camera with me for was our trip to Tesco. The gates were draped with a big banner "Tim Hortons now available here". Well we nearly wet ourselves. It was like Fingal County Council got together and said what can we do to make Jill and Mark's move to the neighbourhood less startling. So in we go, even asking the security guard inside the door straightaway where Tim's is in order to speed up the glorious reunion. Well, we were disappointed. Tim's amounts to a bakery stall with donuts and timbits and the same box as good ol Canada but no coffee shop, and no take home coffee even. Bah foiled. Still, baby steps.

Just watched Countdown with Des Lynam. Richard Whitely must be turning in his grave. The chemistry just isn't there between Carol and Des. Still though, I'd say there's housewives knickers dropping all over Britain come 3:30.
